What to Expect

No matter your current fitness ability or understanding, expect to learn. You’ll learn about Functional Fitness- some of the material covered will be squats, deadlifts, cleans, bodyweight exercises, box jumps, kettlebell swings, etc- and how these movements can be scaled for anyone at any fitness level.

Expect to complete a short but challenging workout each class that will give you a taste of our fun and unconventional training style.

Expect to see friendly faces who will make you feel welcome and excited to learn. Make sure you wear comfortable clothes and athletic shoes, and bring a bottle of water.

Expect to come away from this knowing more about yourself. With our guidance and coaching your will realize what you are capable of physically and mentally. With this baseline course under your belt we can help you to establish health and fitness goals and create a path to get you there.

We have 2 Options to get you started:

Option 1: Fundamentals 1:1

This is 4 personal training sessions, set up to fit your schedule. It’s just you and one of our friendly and knowledgeable coaches, getting you on the fast track to CrossFit classes! We will teach you all of the fundamental movements of CrossFit, and end each session with a short, but fun workout of the day (WOD). Option 2: Intro to CrossFit program

This program only takes place a few times per year. It is an 8 week session, 2 classes per week, which takes place in a group setting. We understand that starting any new fitness routine can be overwhelming and somewhat intimidating. The goal of our Intro to CrossFit program is to eliminate your fears, introduce you to the CrossFit methodology, and have some fun – all while getting fitter. We will teach you how to move safely and efficiently through the most common movements you will encounter in our general CrossFit classes. At the end of the 8 weeks, you will have a strong understanding of the foundations of CrossFit, and feel confident and ready to make the transition into general CrossFit classes alongside the rest of your rookie classmates.
